Day 2 in Split, Croatia
We woke up at 9, had a quick shower and a lovely cup of coffee créme from Tommy Market. We all craved eggs and bacon and therefore decided to visit ‘De Belly’ cuz they do amazing breakfast - of course we opted for the “gourmet breakfast” which consisted of a big, fat, juicy sausage (sorry bigjoeben40), fried eggs etc🤤 With stomaches full we headed for the Bacvice beach, where we ended up staying all day. The place was crowded but Mario, the beach boy, sorted three lovely sun beds for us, despite the fact people normally book weeks in advance. We had a couple (or 10) cheap drinks - if you’re so lucky to ever go, you must try the Mexican bull 🇦🇱🐃.
The water was refreshing which was nice, since the sun was shining from a clear blue sky. The Adriatic sea is very salty, but they have nice showers at the beach.
We left Bacvice around 5 pm and walked back to the city center to grap a late lunch at BEPA - it turned out to be our dinner as well, because the Croatian wine got us all cray cray. We missed our cosy, shiny love patio so we headed back to the apartment to freshen up ourselves and get our club gear on. We were recommend to visit CENTRAL CLUB so that was the plan - when we first got there the line was huge so we went to paradiso to grap an espresso martini and a GT (maybe we had some tequila shots, but honestly I don’t recall). Paige and Valencia stopped by (all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦 and Marbella$) and of course they joined us at central. When we got to the club the second time the line was almost infinite and we had to wait in queue for more than an hour, but we had a blast and met a lot of nice people. The wait was definitely worth it - I don’t exaggerate when I tell you that it is on my top five European club list - you must go if you are ever in Split.
