Destination #2 is booked!

Barcelona I'll see you in less than two weeks!

I finally booked the plane tickets and hotel today for trip # 2 out of 12! Even though I'm behind schedule on planning all these trips, I managed to find a very nice hotel in Barcelona, where I'll be going very soon.

I'm looking so much forward to this trip, because I've always wanted to go to Barcelona. I have been checking out the weather app on my iPhone for a couple of weeks now, and the weather there is so much better than here in Copenhagen. Hopefully I'll get a lot of D-vitamin while I'm there.

I have received so much good information and so many good tips on Barcelona from friends, family and colleagues. I can't wait to get there and see what the city has to offer. From what I've heard, it's an amazing city. All those cool spots and cultural must-sees, and all those restaurants I want to pay a visit, OMG! If you didn't realise it yet > I'm a food lover!

I'm also exited for this hotel I picked out. I tried to find a hotel in El Raval or Del Born (areas of the cities which I heard were the best) and this hotel is as close at it could be to Del Born. The Hotel I found is H10 Montcada Boutique Hotel and it really has the look and atmosphere I was looking for (see the photos above). I know I'll spend a lot of time outside the hotel, but you never know if it's going to rain the whole weekend, and then it's good to stay at a hotel, where you actually like to spend time. Hopefully, I'll have some time to hang out at the hotel to write on my computer and read a book, because I would also like to relax and unwind while I'm there.

Oh, and I need to refresh my Spanish, but thankfully there is a very good App for that - the Duolingo App - and it's actually really fun; you can practise different languages on the app, you can choose what level you are on etc. Try it!!

I'm looking forward to tell you a lot more about the trip and take my own photos of the city and everything there.

xoxo AM
